L.F. Markey “Kenny” box top in black, 100% linen, OS

I believe this is from L.F.Markey’s summer 2020 collection. If you’re not familiar with L.F.Markey, they are known for their modern, feminine women’s clothing, inspired by workwear and utility. Namesake and ex-Burberry designer, Louise Markey graduated from the Masters course at Central Saint Martins. Prompted by her passion for traditional bleus de travail and artist’s smocks, L.F. Markey was born. L.F.Markey is renowned for its contemporary variations of workwear staple pieces, including signature boilersuits, chore coats, dungarees, work pants, and jeans. It’s a great quality top, beautifully made and difficult to photograph as it’s a deep black. It’s a bit too oversized on my 5’3” frame and would likely be better suited to someone a bit taller! It has a dropped shoulder and cleverly stitched bust gathers to add visual interest. The sleeves are long, with a slight bell sleeve design and wrist ties that can be adjusted as needed. It has beautiful brown buttons and even has hip pockets - it can be worn open or closed, as pictured. EUC, no fading or flaws.
