When I encountered this label, my first thought was, "...elf shoes?", closely followed by "OMG, a detachable shoe mustache!" These are not, in fact, named for elves, but after the Italian founders and designers of the label, Licia Florio and Francio Ferrari, who wanted to create a line of unisex, comfortable shoes with a sense of playfulness and irony, incorporating extreme yet elegant design elements. All things considered, I think this particular shoe is pretty on the nose with all of the above. And if you're not into wearing a shoe mustache, it easily snaps off, leaving you with a very stylish (and shiny) loafer sneaker. Marked size 41, these fit my feet quite comfortably, so they should work for anyone with reasonably standard size 9.5 to 10 feet.
