Large 10k Solid Gold Vintage Birks Locket With Hand Engraved Sunflowers

Thanks for looking at this vintage Birks locket in 10k gold. The locket is large and heavy - 1.5 inches not including clasp if that gives you an idea of its size. I did have it professionally tested to guarantee its purity. It's hand engraved with sunflowers and leaves. The case shows its age through vintage patina and minor scratches/flaws as shown in photos. But there are no major dents. It still has the plastic photo covers and frames for photos of your loved ones. The locket opens and closes properly. It likely dates to the 1940s. This is a rare piece- sterling silver and gold filled Birks lockets are not too hard to come by, but the solid gold material and sunflower design of this locket are special.
