Large Art Deco centrepiece bowl and flower frog, silver plated metal flower frog

...dish, large flat rose bowl, cut flowers table display A large shallow dish in an elegant design made of silver plated metal with a pierced lid for positioning and holding cut flowers in place and little Bakelite handles to easily carry and position your floral display. Perfect to place on a large farmhouse wooden table, or to use as a central piece for a wedding or birthday. Alternatively, it would make a cut herb or succulent planter, or potpourri dish. Condition: It is in great vintage condition with smalls marks of age and use to the metal and a couple tiny dents. The handles were tested for Bakelite with simichrome (positive result). The marking underneath are near illegible, the only word I was able to make out with any certainty was ´Plated´. It has such a shine sheen to it, it looks more like it was chromed. Size: ca 12" diameter (30.5 cm) in total, the central bowl being ca 6.5" (16.5 cm) in diameter. Height (with lid) ca 5 inches (12.5 cm)
