15.5 diameter 1 thickness Vintage from the 1970s Materials: Bronze Maker: Berendsohn Large Bronze Wall Plate With Biblical Scenes By Berendsohn. Has a wall mount hanger on rear of plate. In the middle circle an image of Adam and Eve in Paradise, in which Eve tempts Adam with an apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Six other images were interspersed with other biblical scenes. In the outer ring on the edge of the board are twelve images of men on horseback, alternating with the same decoration we see in the inner circle. Marked tin, angel tin (Hallmark Engeltjetin). Engraved on the back. The term angel tin is often used in summary for all decorative and utility tins with a tin mark with an angel. These objects were usually made by casting the tin. The large platter has been cast from solid bronze with a biblical design around the border. In the center of the dish Adam and Eve are depicted.
