Large Burl Wood Bowl Turned Wood MCM Accent Fruit Bowl

A large vintage burl bowl made from burled wood. The burled grain covers almost all of the bowl. The curved rim gives the piece an interesting shape. It's in very good condition with some light scuffs and wear to the finish. It does have a faint smell of wood smoke - it has been thoroughly washed and sanitised but the smell persists and I'm not sure if the wood may have been smoked by the artisan in order to treat or cure it. It's not very strong but it is there if you put your nose to it! It is 11.5" wide by 5 3/4" tall
