Large Butler’s Tray Silver Plated Rectangular Flower Detail Platter Vintage

Large vintage rectangular silver plated tray with gorgeous ornate floral detail around the edge and ornate handles, and an embossed or engraved base. In well used vintage condition with lots of patina, some shallow scratches and some spots of corrosion and tarnish from age and use. Because of the tarnish, it is difficult to tell if there is any loss of silver, but it could still be polished, even if it reveals some of the copper below. I love this kind of patina, as it takes many years to develop. This piece is very heavy. The tray is rectangular, has two handles, no feet. The bottom side is marked: Trade Mark 1883 FB Rogers Silver Co Silver on Copper 1560 21” long handle to handle 12.57” wide 1” high Inside flat base is 13x 9”
