@lisacerone After much searching I found out that these espresso makers are made in the UK by Italian manufacturers. 😆 The whole thing is made of stainless steel because I was wary of the aluminum ones.

@lisacerone There is only the item itself and the gasket in between the parts. Everything works, its just too big for one person 😞. It could be aluminum but if it is, this is one heavy aluminum stove top espresso maker! No markings on it except the brand. Shouldn't throw boxes away...my bad.
