Large double amethyst pendant on sterling

Two pieces of beautifully grained amethyst, the top 7/8 inch across, the lower 1-1/2 inches, hang from this eye-catching pendant. It is 2-5/8 inches long, including the bail, which can accommodate a wide chain and is marked 925. The pendant is in good condition, but not perfect - there is a tiny chip on the right side of the top oval, from which extends a very thin crack, and the amethyst on the bottom has a tiny gap on the right edge. See second to last picture for details. The piece also has some minor patina, which could be further cleaned if desired. (d)
