The perfect dress for someone that still wants to be able to ride a bike, do a cartwheel, or not have their thighs stick together. An absolute Mod “must-have” for riding a scooter!
This McCall's sewing pattern number 8958 is for THAT dress. You'll be able to make either an A-line dress with an inverted pleat at the centre back and front or one that has, get this, a pair of shorts hidden behind the pleat. On the pattern, they refer to option 2 as a pantdress, but it's basically a jumpsuit masquerading as a dress. All 9-pieces have been ironed, folded, and are ready to go. The envelope is in good condition. Peep the images and infographic for more details.
Envelope Description: Four section dress or pant dress, with front zipper, has inverted pleat at center back and center front and may be underlined. Dress has short set-in sleeves, pantdress has long set-in sleeves and either may have faced and interfaced band collar or shirt-type collar, and patch pockets or self fabric belt worn low and held by fabric carriers.
Fits Measurements:
31" Bust 78.75 cm

Modern Size: According to sizechart.com, this should fit a "modern" US size 0. Not your size? Never fear, there are some great online tutorials on how to grade, or resize, a commercial pattern to fit your measurements regardless of your skill level. If you can sew it, you can do it!
