Branigan 2 is the 2nd studio album by American singer Laura Branigan, released in 1983. It hit #29 on the USA Billboard 200 Chart. Lead single Solitaire is a cover version of the ‘81 French-language song singer Martine Clémenceau, with English lyrics written by Diane Warren. It was a commercial success & hit #7on the USA Billboard Hot 100 Chart. 2nd single, How Am I Supposed to Live Without You (co-written by Michael Bolton) hit #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #1 on the Adult Contemporary charts. The album also includes a cover of the Who's "Squeeze Box" (‘75) & Deep in the Dark - a newly written song to the music of Falco's "Der Kommissar" (‘81). An AllMusic retrospective review wrote that Branigan's "full, expressive voice shows serious growth on a much more cohesive collection than her debut album. This album doesn't waste a single track".
