Le Creuset red enamel kettle

This red enamel kettle from Le Creuset was purchased thru Sears catalog over 25 years ago. It was used on a gas stove, it has been well taken care of, yet upon inspection I see it has discoloured somewhat on the inside. Perhaps a bit of rust coming through. For those of you lucky enough to have a wood stove, this would be great on top to keep water warm for baths or to fill hot water bottles. Because of the slight wear on the enamel, I can’t say for sure if this would be food safe. It’s just too pretty a piece to stay hiding in my closet. Open to offers♥️
