deadlycloset @storm_ma Hello, best we can tell is that the main body is genuine leather and the trim is faux, hence why only the trim is peeling. We received it from the manufacturer like this.

storm_ma Are the bones steel? Is this corset suitable for tightlacing/waist-training?

deadlycloset @storm_ma The manufacturer tag says 100% leather but leather generally doesn't peel this way. It is not suitable for tightlacing, they use a combination of steel boning in front and back and soft boning on the sides.
