I just saw this sorry. they also come in SM, MD and LG. I think the large would be a closer to your size.
I do have one size MD and large left. I can send you the large if you like.
I am a size sm to MD or 4 to 6. UK is a little bit smaller so if you fit into a 8, I would go for a lg
