Legionnaire ( Ancient European Soldier) action figure from the adventure of " Asterix the Gallic "; series of cult French comics. The series first appeared on the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Pilote on 29 October 1959. Written by Renée Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Underzo until the death of Goscinny in 1977 Underzo then took over the writing until 2009, when he sold the rights to publishing compagnie Hachette.
