I like to know that my items R one of a kind & that ppl who will wear it, knows that is unique. Must take time doing each piece due to lupus & so many meds including chemo but that will never stop me. We are autoimmune warriors, I know there R many sisters going thru the same, be strong, be bless.

belovedsparrow @letitbegin thank u for finding me - just at the right time! Among other illnesses like hypothyroidism, PTSD, severely lazy stomach muscle....the chronic fatigue has crept up for yrs. Till lately I am moving hardly at all. They will check for autoimmune. I used to be very active up till a few yrs, so going slowly is hard to accept. Thus reading ur story touched my ❤

letitbegin @jmjla7 hello I am do sorry that you as well must suffer. I totally understand how difficult it is day by day or even hour by hour. Hoping for good days for you. You said your are from the S. Bronx I was born there, been all around came from California after 14 years I just want to go back. I started redesigning because I can not work after 25 years as a Pastor n director of a non profit. So many meds including injections of chemotherapy they get me so tired and sick.

letitbegin @jmjla7 However I always have the need to be active and started with small purses sold them. I decided to do clothing. My daughter found Poshmark but I have not sold anything. I think I need only brand names or something but with my disability check so low I can not buy more clothing. Are you still in New York?

belovedsparrow @letitbegin I'm also sorry to hear that you are experiencing such ongoing suffering. God is my rock and I know He is yours too! I actually felt a call to serve the Lord as a nun (I was raised all over, dad in Army, I in Air Force.. parents from MX, but raised w/ many Puerto Ricans, Dominicans. So I joined a convent in the Bronx off Bainbridge helping the poor. Well discerned God was calling me to married life. Now married with a 5 yr old😄

belovedsparrow Reg. Ur situation, I can relate bit in that we rely on mybVA disability..its hard to buy. Not sure where u r, but thrift stores and estate sales have been my best friend...there's some real good finds to sell. But I have an even better gift to redesign!!!😊💖😊

secondhandlil Love closet if your ever looking for supplies let me know.i have so much trims fabric jeans that are only good for repurpose. In high school in the 70s I use to tear apart seams on jeans made maxi &mini ,carpet bags.still can't throw anything away that looks useful . I have many friends with lupus I have fibromyalgia they thought I had lupus organs have been effected can't say it all in under 500 the song from finding Nemo "Keep on swimming " Runs through my head

secondhandlil Your closet reminded me of my youth I will share best to keep,using those hands keeps motor skills stronger . I use to hand sew everything we did not have,much money did not have a machine until I was in my 20s I made all my baby's peewee cloths . Still prefer,hand sewn .I embroidered a golden pheasant on a denim jacket I heard it's still being worn.Teachers and students use to order my cloths no two were alike.Today with sites like this & Internet you have a great opportunity God bless you

And on top my son was moving to kisseme Florida so many things.Thank you for your lovely words. I am trying to sell. but haven't been able to. And if I don't sell I can not buy more materials. secondhandlil @letitbegin I understand I spent all day a Dr near hospital yesterday slowed me down to a stop. Came home with a boot and many more tests to follow from my cardiologist. Try not to get discouraged my sales have been way down considered using a different site,but for some reason this one feels more personal the people are mostly great . iwinfrday FYI I have been taking CBD oil for the last couple weeks for my Lupus symptoms. It seems to be helping the pain. You might want to check it out. It's legal everywhere. No THC, the part that makes you high, just the healing stuff.
