Levi’s 501 Collab with J. Crew. 34x30 WPL 423 Leather patch

J. Crew's men's designers have partnered with Levi Strauss & Co. to bring back the must-have jeans of the Nineties (both the 1890's and the 1990's, actually), the classic 501. The once-ubiquitous red tags sat a bit lower than the 512s, which were also popular, and was the original "boyfriend" jean. One might open People Magazine to see Sarah Jessica Parker lounging in Matthew Broderick's jeans, permed hair perfectly splayed across a peach-pink satin Shabby Chic pillow. In the Sixties, my mother soaked in the bath tub in hers to shrink them to fit. I remember the water turning very blue, as well as her legs.
