I don't know when Levi's invented the idea of Middy jeans because this is the first time I've ever heard about them. They are a straight leg, full length, mid-rise distressed pair of jeans. Please take a look at the measurement photos I've provided and compare them against your own measurements. The reviews seem to indicate that they fit slightly smaller than the size would suggest, hence my advice to please take a look at the measurements. These jeans are a really lovely shade of blue - my favorite kind. It looks like the kind of denim that's been washed a bunch before the company even forms them into jeans. I know that's not an ideal description, but they just have a really pure color to them. They would be great in Spring or Summer because of the rips - you'll have your very own ventilation system. Jeans are good with anything though - a white button-up; a tank; a sweater; or, if you're feeling 2004, stick a dress over top of them. These jeans fit easy through the hip and thigh.
