They often rub causing discomfort making kids cranky, wanting to take them off and less interested in wearing these critically important devices. The Neoprene is not super thick or heavy which is great for kids and their flexibility and movement. The Neoprene is not top shelf like a name brand. After inspecting the entire product I noticed that it does not describe the limits anywhere on it. The jacket has a lot of words on it but the tag only reads "Medium". After some thought and consideration; I decided to write the weight rating on the very inside seam of the life jacket -where it is not highly visible. {but if someone was looking to find out, they could find it} *Life jackets get past around & its a priority that people know before they put it on a slim 60lb ten year old.
