Limited edition “Jewel” Spode charger, number 88 of a limited production of 750. The pattern was made in two colour variations, only in 2005/6. The quality of the decoration emulates late Victorian era porcelain with raised “jewels” of enamelled colour. The design emulates the artwork of Aubrey Beardsley, a famous Art Nouveau era artist, who in turn, was influenced by Japanese woodcuts. 15 1/2” (39.4cm) diameter.
