Description 🌷 The second of eight Mother Goose collectible plates by artist John McClelland. This plate, released in 1979, is an illustration for the nursery rhyme "Little Boy Blue". In the sun-drenched meadow, the afternoon is still and warm. Even the cows and sheep who have strayed into the forbidden part of their pasturage appear reluctant to disturb the peaceful setting. And it seems almost inevitable that the little boy in blue, lulled by the warmth of the sun and cradled in the soft, fragrant depths of the haystack, must fall asleep.
