Little Candle by Janice Unrau illustrated by John Doyle Copyright 2021

Little Candle is Janice’s first children’s book. It is written from the perspective of someone asking the candle if they see the beauty that the children/reader does. It concludes with relating the candle to God’s love and help. A key characteristic of Janice’s book is the easy piano level song relating to the story included at the end of each book. This book was written and published in Manitoba. The illustrations were done as paint on canvas in Alberta. Janice passed away in January 2022, but her heart was always for God, kids, and creativity.
