Little Moon Cortada Dress

Altered! Let me begin by saying that there is no world in which a plunging V neck bodice both back & front that has a sleeve will actually stay on, 100% the reason for it's abandonment. Even with double sided sticky tape, you would definitely run a very high risk of giving a peep show to yr audience. Lol. I love the dress! First the textile, this is rayon based Georgette with an adorable whimsical floral print that has a lot of negative space which is also unique. The skirt is made from 3 peek-a-boo layers. This is a dress I wore to one of my husband's gigs. I hand washed it & hung to dry. It shrunk just enough for it to be too short for me. In keeping with the original design I added a transparent black silk Georgette addition to the lining layer. The belt is gone, I didn't like it. I shortened the arms to 3/4 & added an anchor cord to the shoulder. I love the easy peasy semi wiggle fit. It's absolutely adorable.
