Lladro Angel with Baby Porcelain Figurine This Angel with Sleeping Child figurine, with catalogue number 4635, was introduced in 1970 and retired in 2003. Designed by Juan Huerta, a Spanish postwar and contemporary sculptor. It is a figurine of a guardian angel watching over a sleeping baby. The angel has a finger placed vertically in front of his lips in a gesture requesting silence. Measures just under 7”high x 3-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" long. The underside has both the incised marks and the vivid cobalt blue genuine Lladro back stamp. The lovely figurine would make a beautiful addition to any collection and would also be a wonderful gift to welcome a new baby.
