TV icon preceding the title is for T trendy because of its colors brown with hints of burgundy and V vintage ( from turn of 1979’s-1980’s).
Follies are faked ruins, buildings or grottoes that were popular additions to European gardens mainly in the 18-19 centuries. While in Paris, have a walk in Parc Monceau to discover!
Timeless and classic cut.
Feminine and romantic print: it brings memories me of walks in aristocratic Italian parks with different species of flowers among fake Greco-Roman ruins.
All of those outlined in different shades of brown with hints of burgundy on a light brown background.
A-Line cut.
Fabric is soft in touch. No lining and no need for one.
97:3 polyester:spandex.
Practical: machine wash & tumble dry low.
Measurements in inches when flat and approximate:
Length: 37.5
Waist (fully elasticized at the back): 14
However, I did wear it until size 12.
Closes at the back with a nice wood-looking button (in reality plastic) and zipper.
Labeled as medium.
Hues vary with light. Much nicer in person. A slight rusty hue on the background.
This turn of 1970-1980 skirt was so beautiful and practical that I went back to the store to buy another one but of a different color (mauve to be listed later).
