Lord Nelson Pottery Nursery Rhyme (Simple Simon) Alphabet Child's Bowl &Plate

Vintage 50s Nursery set by Lord Nelson Pottery, Staffordshire, England. Originally these items came in a 3 piece set. In this case, there is a cereal bowl and a plate (Simple Simon met a pieman. Bowl. I am not sure what nursery rhyme is depicted on the plate. Mug is missing. This is a really lovely set comprising a cereal bowl and plate. The ceramics are stamped Lord Nelson Pottery, England and have lovely transfer designs on a white body. The cereal bowl depicts Simple Simon and plate has a boy riding a hobby horse, a little dog and bluebirds. They are also decorated all round with the alphabet. The bowl is 7.5 inches in diameter and the plate 7 inches.
