I am the creator of the upcyled clothing and jewelry in this closet. I love giving new life to old items, and taking a worn out/damaged garment or piece of jewelry 📿 and remaking it into something new. I am all about turning basic into something unique and one of a kind. Most of my unaltered items are from my own closet, or are scavenged finds and are in excellent condition. Most of my upcycled pieces are partially made out of unwanted/damaged/worn out garments/jewelry, most of which would’ve eventually ended up in the landfill. I salvage everything I can from an item and use as much of it as possible. If you’ve ever visited a landfill you would know how heartbreaking and gut wrenching it is to see piles and piles of discarded items that could’ve been reused, fixed, upcycled or repurposed. Landfills are filling up with throw away fashion/fast fashion - which encourages consumers to view clothing as disposable and easily replaceable so that brands can continue to put out and push new merchandise onto the consumer without regard for what happens to the garments once they are purchased. I create and support sustainable fashion. I’m into reusing and repurposing anything I can, so all of my packaging materials are also reused/recycled ♻️
