Louben 100% silk skirt lined petite

Timeless elegance and glamour from the '80s! Straight knee-length skirt in shantung silk, with side vents and back zipper. Fully lined. A beautiful shade of warm, creamy ecru. The skirt is in very good condition, with the exception of wrinkles from long storage and two small stains. One is a scorch mark from a too-hot iron which can be seen in the third photograph but is much less noticeable in person. The other is a coffee stain near the hem on the front. This has been professionally dry-cleaned, but the stain was not removed. For the horrifying story behind this stain, scroll down to the bottom of this description. Waist: 30" Hips: 40" Length: 21" Petite sizing suitable for figures 5’4” and under. Please see the approximate measurements in the photos. There is a matching jacket which I will include for free, if you want it. The jacket is also in perfect structural condition, but features significant coffee stains on the left sleeve and around the two top button holes. These coffee stains (and the one on the skirt) are the result of a catastrophe in 1990 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. At the intermission of Les Miserables, a Famous Person (name withheld for legal reasons) bumped into me on their way to the bathroom, jostling my arm while I was drinking. Coffee went flying. Famous Person did not even look back. I was so traumatized, I couldn't let go of this suit for decades. Famous Person has since died. Not by my hand, but I feel vindicated.
