sheadeesloth @heatherdoes hi there! most of louis vuittons authentication is done through material, stitching, patterns, etc. This can be a bit harder to do online. But the date code can apparently be used as another way to help authenticate. My mum bought the bag about 20 years ago, she reckons, so we don't have any receipts or anything like that but i will upload the date code along with another close up of some of the other details of the bag.
