@myriambegin I will take a look for the date code, or serial number when I’m home later tonight. I believe it’s hidden in the lining somewhere. Will let you know 🙂 is there something in particular that will sway your decision one way over the other?

@seamsstressed hi there, I can’t for the life of me find the date stamp in the lining … there are no serial numbers on LV handbags. I have the purse, the receipt, the cloth bag and the box … I bought it at LV myself … I understand wanting the proof, and that the actual receipt may not be suffice. The only other “tag” of sorts inside is a leather tag saying it was made in the USA with the LV logo … I can send a picture if you’re interested.

@c_ketchen just came across your attempt at looking for the date code - try the inside of the zipper pocket it may be a little tab with the same color embossing as the inside LV label .
Or it’s embossed into the lining of the bag and / or inside one of the inside compartments.
