Luisa Spagnoli Dress

A chance to own a little piece of Italian history. Google Louisa Spagnoli - founder of Perugina chocolate factory (you know, those little Baci chocolates?), pioneer of knitting with angora and designer of classic clothing that today even the Duchess Kate Middleton wears. This bouclé shift dress is in very, very good condition but doesn’t fit me. Suitable for someone much taller than 5’3”. It’s almost 3” below my knees. Fits my 38” bust perfectly; loose on my 27” waist. I’ve added pics with flat lay measurements to help. Note that the black strip that appears to be at waist line is actually higher so I’ve shown the lower measurement also, where it hits my waist. Also note that while the bust measures flat at about 16.5” it has built in projection to accommodate a bust larger than 33”. Beautiful details, details. Buttons, attached chain necklace, glitter thread, sequins…this piece has it all. I was going to wear it over a white blouse. So sad it doesn’t fit. Questions? Leave a comment below!
