poshmarkmarcie1 @marylee972 Often times, items are either limited edition/rare find/ sold out on-line or very popular size so it's hard to buy on the brand's site so because of low availability sellers have the upper hand and can merit asking a higher price.

I'm new here too and recieved grrat stuff and got good deals like brand new tags on Sorel boots for less than half price in store or very lightly worn lulus for $50. PM offers a wide variety of items from lower quality stuff for a cheap price, you can snag popular brands at a steal, other times you'll find great stuff at exact same price as on-line brand sites but you have to remember that those items might be sold out or have longer shipping times or higher shipping costs.
