mariazibnit @dimondsolar I have a little trick I use in store s as the shoe is still on the shelf. You grab it by the nose roughly where the fingers would end , and try to wiggle from left to right. If it shakes - it will shake as you walk, it’s not stable enough and will hurt your foot ( and I’ve had very very high heels that are stable , so it’s not about the height ). So… do you mind checking that for me. :)

mariazibnit @heazcowley as they are in the shelf still, you try to wiggle it from left to right . You’re trying to see how stable the ball of the foot is , so better to hold by the “nose of the shoe”, which is roughly where the toes end. If it’s shakes - it will shake as your walking , and it will hurt your foot/ankle . Quick trick before even looking for your size .

mariazibnit @heazcowley And I’ve seen veerrry high heals that don’t shake - it’s possible even for a tall heel. Sometimes when the bottom sole is leather , it might shake a bit in store, but then settles in when you walk. But ONLY leather (and make sure bottom ). Makes sense ?? :)
