Rare 1980s confetti lucite hoops by Vancouver’s brilliant artist Martha Sturdy. I bought tons of her earrings then from Holt Renfrew in Montreal and sold off most already but frankly I also bought some recently from resale sites, as I am still a great fan … These here are very large hoops in hot primary colours on black lucite in Martha’s signature CONFETTI PATTERN . See last photo of another model from the same collection with same confetti disc which was sold on 1st Dibs. The original metal pin top broke and was replaced with simple hooks.
