mmmichyu Hello - just curious if the bust 40” is the lay flat pit-to-pit measurement?

tabbytails hello. 40 inches is the bust which is the pit to pit doubled. frankly I don't really get that pit to pit measurement - when a retailer sells a bra or pair of jeans they don't measure it flat and say a pair of jeans measures 14 inches or a bra is 18 inches. LOL! Just my opinion....:)
