MCM Vintage GE Auto II Chrome Electric Kettle - Auto Off & Simmer

MCM decorator's dream...this Vintage GE Chrome Electric Kettle is both a decor and useable piece. Likely from 1960s, this kettle is in wonderful condition especially given it's age...Chrome is shiny and bright...no major scratches and no dents...the faux-wood strip has a minor ripple (hardly noticeable)..the pour spout has some hard water spots (see photo)...the light on handle still lights up bright and orange (when water has come to a boil). The kettle heats up and comes to a boil quickly...has auto off and simmer slide switch. GUC - Vintage age/use expected wear.
