...orange cloth chandelier, modernist cottage farmhouse lighting A very vintage barrel shaped swag lamp or ceiling pendant light, the orange mottled cloth shade accentuated with a wrought metal top and bottom, the bottom inside of the shade is covered with a plastic (acrylic?) semi-transparent plate, to stop the glare of the bulb shining in your eyes. It has a long electrical cord, threaded through metal chain links with a thumb roll-switch. This would look amazing in a modern vintage decor - it is both colourful without being garish and classic without being snobby. Perfect for tall ceilings and music dens, student rooms and French country kitchens, cottages on the lake and cozy sewing nooks. Both the top and bottom metal parts can be removed and they will be removed for shipping. The shade can be easily converted as a ceiling shade, without the chain. Tested and works well. With and older North American 2 prong plug (slight bending), it works well as-is, but for safety reasons I would always recommend a rewiring by a professional.
