MEDCO Glass Cocktail Shaker with Lid and Recipes from the World 1940’s

This is a glass cocktail shaker with a two-piece screw-on cream-yellow colored plastic lid. The bottom of the glass container is marked "MEDCO - 550 - N.Y.C. – 1”. On top of the lid there is a second smaller lid that easily removes for pouring drinks. The top of the smaller lid rotates revealing recipes for 7 different drinks, including Martinis and Tom Collins. The heavy glass shaker is decorated with textured designs molded into the glass and run along the length of the shaker. This shaker most likely dates from the 40’s possibly into the early 50’s.
