Welcome! I started on Poshmark to recycle my wardrobe after some hair color and weight changes - & have been hooked. I enjoy vintage, upcycled/preloved clothing - sustaining our planet is important to me. Brand loves include Eileen Fisher, Porto, Gr. Dano, Gaia, All Saints, Kelly Lane & other sustainable brands, Etsy. I do accept reasonable offers & am open to negotiating. My home is smoke free. I love to share, no need to "pay back." I think many closets too in the beginning are a bit overwhelmed with Welcome posts so when you welcome them and tag others they know you are community based and ready to help and share. As apposed to some Welcome posts just trying to sell their own closet. I think they appreciate that and then know they can reach out to you with posh questions or sharing the community. jackierct @momoretro My husband and I had a similar experience walking into--- and running away from--- our very local mall. Re burnout: I wish there were a way to subdivide closets/shoppers by taste/style/preference. It's fun to discover things that resonate, but not fun going through things that are a complete aesthetic mismatch. We did see a great closet last night!

momoretro @sammypants @jackierct 14 or 15 gets into a car in the dark on Parker St (boys couldn’t come to our house and ring the bell you see), her behavior was so odd my husband followed her ...later she told me “mom I was safe ...it was a VOLVO SUV.” And she was serious. She survived into adulthood.

sammypants @momoretro much better than south socially but still fairly hellish. Good academics though and def felt more inclusive and diverse. I enjoyed the sports and incredible art dept. I was only one of five to go to north due to all the redistricting. I oddly went to mason rice, then Day for a year, then sent to Brown for two and then to North. It was very difficult socially.
