Hello everyone! My name is Julia and I have a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management from Missouri State University. I am from St. Louis, MO. I LOVE clothes, you can never have too many!! Fortunately, I am selling most of my clothes I have outgrown or never worn, so one's woman junk is another woman's treasure (I think that's how the saying goes). Woohoo!! I've done several things in the field: such as merchandise for blues and concerts, planning hockey tournaments and game day operations, and other special events. I've also done things on the theatre side: sales, promotions, and office operations. I've also done tv productions: assistant to executive producer, production assistant, and actress for a few commercials. Between the jobs, I work in a chiropractic office. :) most of my experience is with sports but I love TV the best. ;)

@jaclyn290 that's awesome!! So I guess it's a little bit of sports management and event planning? Sounds like a lot of fun!! MO State is a good school for that since no other school I looked into provided entertainment management.

Yes. Exactly! That's why I chose it. The other school I looked at for something similar was Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. I chose MO State because it had an undergrad and Full Sail had undergrad and masters. So I could always do a master at Full Sail. ;)

Yes! So cute. I lived in a historic apartment complex off of elm, 4th floor, top corner. Best place ever! It was completely remodeled when I moved there in 2009. :)

i lived in Hammons my first year. Sororities can be fun too! I was Sigma Kappa :) I was also on the leader board of EMA, Entertainment Management Association. So many options. You'll have a great time if you go there. You're into baking?? What's kind of baking do you like? Cupcakes are my fav ;)

@jaclyn290 oh that's awesome that you did all that stuff!! I feel like I would belong in one of the sororities but maybe Delta Zeta since I already have some friends in that one lol. Yes I love to bake! I love making eclairs and cakes! Cupcakes too! I thought about becoming a pastry chef at first but then I got introduced to hospitality management and then entertainment management. So many choices for a major!

@ckuller thank you! I just turned 23 on November 4th. Lol my plans have changed since 3 years ago when I had this as my biography. I have 2 semesters left at Missouri State University. My plan is to study abroad in the summer to Italy or Spain. I'm so jealous you get to see Guns N Roses in Europe!! They're my favorite band!

@jav1104 well that's what life is about! And finishing college in time is rare! I was engaged at 24 It's crazy! So many things can happen! they just finished Brazil- Europe tour hasn't been announced but rumors are England and France (I would think Italy too). Israel is another rumor. Wanted to see them in Japan w my bro but it's too soon now (January). I was too young to see them when I was little so I saw them in dallas this summer w my bro in pit/ amazing!

@jav1104 I saw u majored in hospitality (I majored in sociology) I almost did grad school abroad in London Paris or Milan. London was my choice for the grad program had to do w sociology & clothing (but realisticallyI didn't want to do any more school). Anyways, saw the hospitality. My dad was a tax attorney turned restauranteur. I know a lot about the industry so if u ever need any info happy to help (before that I did plenty of promoting, sales, visual merchandising at intermix etc.

@ckuller life can be unpredictable even when you've made big plans, things can change in a blink of an eye. That's really cool how your Dad turned into a restauranteur! I know some people who graduated with a different degree ended up working in the hospitality industry. I'm aiming towards becoming a director of sales at a hotel resort. I'm hoping with my future career I could travel to different countries and experience cultures outside of the US.
