l8dysophia @ahoodie94 I was there back in 2006, and went w/my then Jewish bf who conveniently spoke fluent Spanish! Thank jihad he did, because we got to go places Americans just aren't allowed! Although, his being Jewish did end up putting us in some rather sketchy scenarios in the smaller towns lolz... I dunno how much it is now, but to take "Daisy" (I named my camel of course) for a spin around the pyramids at sunset it was just under $36! Bare in mind, my "haggling" skills having just returned from 10 months living in Bangkok were preeeeettty darn good at the time lolz! Now, if you say you are American, you have to be followed around by armed guards the entire time :-/... Not exactly the intimate, exploratory kind of visit we wanted lol! Thus, if/when you do get to go, say you're a Canadian ;)! Saves a LOT of time, money, & privacy! Cheers & thank you for the kind words :)! Xxoo

linsleppo Guuuuuuuuurl! Thank you so much for the time and thought you put into your response! I don't know how to put into words how sweet that is so I just shared your entire closet as thanks lol! Thank you thank you thank you for the constructive criticism. I love my house, it's a cute little house from the 70's but I don't think the previous owner was a fan of bright lighting lol! It makes me bonkers when I'm trying to take clear pics!!! So then I try to enhance them and usually end up messing up the pic more lol. I'm a terrrrrrrible photographer! 😄 I saw the no electronics rule on PM but I thought the cases qualified as accessories. I may have been talking myself into that though lol! I'll email support and ask if those are allowed. I also have 1 bra for sale that is NWOT so I'm going to ask about that too... I want to make sure I'm following the rules! 😁 Thanks for the google images thing! I'll try and sit down this weekend and find some pics! I think I may have messed up my cover shots last weekend trying to improve them lol. I got this gram buddy app to add the discounted price to the corner of the pictures so that shoppers could easily see what the price is with the 25% discount I'm offering. I took pics of my cover shots on my phone and then edited the discount price in the corner and blew them up. Well now they just look hazy lol! 😣 I'm going to try and sit down tomorrow and fix all that. 😃 The tumbler thing... What is that exactly? I'm knew to this smart phone and before this I had a flip phone lol so I'm still learning! Took me a couple months to find that gram buddy app, before that I was just typing my specials on the notepad and posting those!!!! Ugggggh...terrible!!!! Lol! Also, when I was sharing your closet this morning I just fell in love with you! You are so beautiful! Have you modeled?!? You should!!!! You have such a delicate and graceful body with such bold and intensely beautiful facial features! It's a truly unique and stunning combination! I love your closet! I wish I wore your size so I could buy all your stuff!!! 😜😜😜 You touch my heart with your illness. I'm a nurse. I was an oncology nurse in Dallas and then San Antonio for 4 years before I got my "daytime normal hours" job at a retirement home. I can't tell you how my patients affected my life. Every single one was literally, the NICEST person I had ever met. I'm knowledgeable about the chemo regimens and side effects of every chemo and all that jazz so if you ever need anything or have any questions but can't find the will to close your PM app to call your doc and ask just message me lol! 😉😉😉 Or if you ever need to just talk stuff out, I'm here. 😄 My email address is linsleppo@yahoo.com and I'll give you my cell number too if you want! 😄 Anyway, I'm totally off subject! l8dysophia @linsleppo First, let me just say THANK YOU! I was worried I might come off as someone who thought they were more of an "expert" than deservedly so. I'm so grateful that you chose to see it as I'd intended, it speaks to your intelligence & professionalism & I'm so appreciative! Second, your compliments made me blush😳as I don't exactly see myself in that light, but your words were incredibly kind & generous! You, my dear, have an AMAZING figure as well (I'm thinking most specifically of a certain red top where your cleave is MUCHO-MARILYNESQUE ;)! I'm no model & after working in behavioral health so long, I doubt I'd last long in any profession where I'm not giving back in SOME way to others, think my brain starts to shrink or something lol! Part of what's so hard or not working right now is not having that ability to fill up what I've dubbed my "soul-o-meter," a rather selfish but well-intended side effect of working in my field (and your field too! My sister is an oncology nurse now & it's incredibly admirable work! Personally speaking, as someone going through this now, I can tell you it's been the nurses who have given me the most hope, insight, & empathy)! All compliments aside, let me address a few of your questions I do have the answers to! 1. All underwear (bras, panties, etc.) are allowed as long as NWOT! It's ONLY when used they are prohibited (although this is not as enforced as I'd prefer & have seen used breast pumps, Et cetera to my great displeasure lol). 2. I'm faaaaaiiirly sure the iPhone cases are ok, but I'd love to hear what you hear back! 3. The app I think you would LOVE & what I use to edit most all my shots is "Instagram." It is mainly for smartphones & I think works on most devices w/a camera, but I will double check that it isn't exclusive to phones & get back to you :)! 4. Tumblr (an app I rarely use aside from what I told you & really only recently discovered & don't honestly see the point of since it's just basically a running stream-of consciousness, kind of gallery), EXCEPT with Poshmark, once you've "registered" you can just search for Poshmark & then hit the "Follow" button which is in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The Poshmark Tumblr arena is quite helpful as you can see the parties WAY ahead of time & they actually post pretty interesting little pieces on poshers closets, bios, great tips, & I think you might like & find it useful in this regard! Tumblr you can download to a phone or computer, but if you don't have the space (or like in my case, you just want it to use when you feel the need), you can register EASILY, then just browse around in the app itself, without actually downloading it! That might be good for your phone if you have access to Internet, but don't have much space to spare. 5. I have such undying respect for nurses. I've learned so much from them, working alongside them, & some of my greatest friends & family are nurses. Therefore, you as well deserve kudos for everything you do! There just aren't enough guardians of the people in this world, and when you choose a field such as nursing, you become a part of something, a legacy of sorts, that leaves behind you a loooong trail of goodness & caring! Sorry, my home is getting torn apart right now & I think the chemicals are going to my head & I'm getting off-topic lolz... Bottom line is, you rule, & I'm super glad I messaged you bc now we can be posh besties & that's radtastic :)! 6. Def try Instagram for photo editing, there's other good apps people use here like "Beautiful Mess" & I like "Instaframe" & "Instamagic" for combining multiple images, however, those last three require IOS 7 or later which even I don't have yet on my iPhone & you'd need a new smartphone to download (unless you've got a MacBook or newer laptop, that might work as well). Ok! So I think I covered everything lolz! Thank you for sharing my closet! I will be sure to return the favor now & forever ;)! It was an absolute joy hearing from you & I so appreciate all the (IMO overly lol) kind & complimentary things you Had to say! That was BEYOND necessary, but they did make me walk a liiiittle taller today I do believe ;)! I look forward to seeing how this goes & PLEASE lmk if I can help w/ANYTHING! daughter14 Hello Sophie, I just want to let you know how grateful I am to you for taking your time to share my closet . Only on Posh for less than a week . I am already feeling welcomed with open arms. I myself , am a stay at home mom of two wonderful teenagers , and I would like them to stay that way! Lol I am an Interior Designer by trade , but have taken almost a 12 year hiatus, due to the fact that I really wanted to make sure my children stay on the right path , and the economy also didn't help much! I then decided that if I was going to be home. I needed to earn extra $ . So I decided to design handbags, and not just any handbag. One that would be Eco friendly , and cost effect for myself . l8dysophia @gettumgirl Because it's what worked last time & I'm so itty bitty & have other health issues that last time the chemo almost took me down completely. It's just too much for my body to handle, so they're using it as a kind of last ditch attempt. Because the tumors on my kidney, & I have a very rare, very untreatable kidney disease, they can't just remove my kidney as they would for anyone else. It's an autoimmune disorder which takes me off the donor list since ANY kidney they throw in there would be rejected &/or would eventually stop working as my current ones will one day anyhow. Make sense?

l8dysophia @gettumgirl as far as my state, I'm just trying to stay positive :)! It's really hard as I'm now outta work & broke as a joke w/no safety net or family to fall back on! It's just me & that makes staying positive a challenge! Also, since I'm a counselor & giving back to the community has always been my source of strength, joy, & fulfills what I've dubbed my "soul-o-meter," NOT having that in my life really sucks & I wish I had the strength to work, but I just don't & each time I've pushed it, my body does something to tell me it's just not ready. So, it's def a daily battle! Not only btw me & the cancer but also btw me & my own sanity lol! Posh is my only source of income right now, & that ain't good lol! I mean, it's good that I have it, but as you know, it's not a reliable or even livable source by any means. So yeh! Just trying to hang in there really & not get caught up in all the "Why ME" bullpoop lol!

l8dysophia @gettumgirl No, I couldn't because the nature of my work is quite involved, (I was Lead Counselor, so not only responsible for my caseload but also for supervising a large team of roughly 6-9 others), so I had to quit as I couldn't fulfill the duties of my job & there weren't lesser or alternative positions I could've taken. I received some disability, but it's simply not offered for long-term cases like mine at my old job. I'm trying to find something else that's less demanding but it's a real byatch since the more remedial positions won't hire me bc I'm "overqualified" & basically they're scared I'll leave (despite my assurance otherwise), but the more clinical positions won't hire me as they want someone like most counselor jobs, who's gunna work all day/all night, etc. Counseling is pretty demanding as most of the time they want you to work as a social worker, liaison, and in many other roles that in full health I find somewhat demanding, and in crap health I find totally un-doable lolz. But, I'm still looking & hopefully I'll find SOMETHING somewhere in the middle!

l8dysophia @gettumgirl I have not, mostly since last time I went through this, it was explained to me that cancer is now considered a "pre-existing condition" by all insurance carriers & therefore since I did not get in "on the job" or while serving my country, that this would disqualify me from receiving any kind of government assistance.. I'd considered trying to receive unemployment benefits, but because I quit my job I don't believe I'd qualify, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

But, I'm back with a vengeance! Interviewing all week & preeeeettty sure I got two rad counseling jobs :)! I'm semi nervous about returning but my savings are decimated & I gotta do what I gotta do ya know? So yeh... I've totally sucked butt in the sharing & caring dept as of late :-/... I'm sorry!! I had planned on "waiting until I knew for sure how serious it was" but slowly came to realize that cancer isn't as straightforward as I'd originally believed & all the wishy washy answers I'd get from all the diff docs never really gave me anything remotely "straightforward" so I wound up only telling my douche ex which turned out to be QUITE a poor choice as his way of showing "support" was banging other chicks lolz! gettumgirl Ha!...we are on the same page....we had a mass tag on her page the other day...and just about sold out her closet within hours to help her raise money for herself and her 3 children...I JUST finished talking with her on posh ...she's now on a feeding tube in the hospital through her nose...so they will not release her ...I have been in touch with Christina since last year and brought gifts for all her children for Christmas...I'm a single parent and don't have much....but I would give the shirt off my back to those who need it!!!...Charm😘

I wish I could donate all my time to helping, but I have to draw the line somewhere now bc it's just too close to me getting burned out so yeh! This is how I stay same lolz! Plus, I wanna empower you & everyone else whom I may help out a LOT in the beginning, but once they've gotten their first lets say 5 HP's, they know what to do & I don't feel as much of a need to implore hosts on their behalf! Does that make sense? You know what to do, you've gotten a ton of HP's & things look great! So I wanna implore you to advocate for your closet & say (most humbly & just as you did to me) "hey, I'm so&so & this is my closet/piece & this is why it is worth checking out & thanks!" Easy Peasy! I'm always going to have my kidney issues, but all the predictions I was given as a young child & adolescent have yet to come to pass, so even with that I'm just not worrying myself about☺️! When I first started on posh though I was in ROUGH shape & it made a BIG difference in my life & I've made some wonderful friends on here, something I NEVER expected! Nice to meet you & don't worry about making any purchases or helping me out like that, I'm self sufficient now (which is wonderful to say), but every little bit helps & now that's how I use posh! Plus it was I think end of February, & being in az all my picks I'd made in preparation were totally not possible! It was a major bummer & I'm fairly certain that of all the parties I've seen, that's been my least fav theme ever! So I figure anything is going to be an improvement😉!

gettumgirl You know I'm good still cancer free as well💥...my daughter who is 24 was diagnosed with a brain disorder in January of this year...but God is Faithful and we have a way to go..but she has come such a long way as well...he will never give us more than we can handle 😘😘😘

siouxshawn WOW🍒💣💥Dude...i just read through this listing and it's so BAD ASS that you mentored some of my favourite PFF's! And they in turn became great mentors for moi ( and countless others) @linsleppo and @daughter14. 😝when I'm feeling burnt from single parent life and frustrated by the system, navigating autism services for my son.
