'MINUET' COVERED VEGETABLE DISH

This is a beautiful 1960's vintage covered vegetable dish and lid in the 'Minuet' pattern from Belfor China, one of the foremost Czech producers of fine Bohemian porcelains. The pattern decoration includes a large central floral motif and a series of smaller floral bouquets around the dish in the 'Dresden Flower' design tradition. The dish is oval in shape, approximately 13 inches long including the handles, about 6 1/2 inches wide, and with the lid on, it stands about 7 inches high. Both the top and the bottom have a band of impressed pattern in the porcelain, and the lid is finished with a gold edging. Both pieces are in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, scratches, stains or other damage or defect. A handsome addition to any table!
