MOLSON BI-CENTENNIAL STEIN - 1986

This item is a vintage limited-edition beer tankard in heavy-duty stoneware with a cast metal lid and embossed metal thumb grip, issued by the Molson brewing company to celebrate their bi-centennial anniversary in 1986. The stein features a full-color portrait of John Molson, the founder of the company, on one side; the Molson logo in color front and center; and a cartouche with French on the other side. Roughly translated, the text on it says: 'John Molson had a sense of pride in the struggle for justice and social inclusion. Throughout two centuries, the Molson family and the Molson staff have maintained these ideals'. The tankard stands 8 inches tall and is numbered on the bottom '05650' as shown. It is in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, stains, wear, or any other damage or defect. A handsome piece of Canadian brewing history - and a great addition for the well-furnished man cave!
