fabfamfashions Hi. it appears to me that this coat is a no name purchased a site like alliexpress. In saying that, I am worried about the quality of fabrics and stitching. can you give me your honest opinion? Also, clothing purchased from sites like that, then to ditch smaller. Is the jacket true to size in US sizing?

racquelyoutzy @fabfamfashions hi!!! I actually picked up this jacket a few years ago (when we still travelled) on a whim from a little shop in Austin when I went to visit my mum BUT since then I HAVE discovered aliexpress!! and I have a real love hate relationship with it - the sizing is all over the place and the quality is hit and miss. AND it would seem that little jackets like this can be found there (it’s like where this one came by way of)

racquelyoutzy @fabfamfashions I do assure you that the quality of this jacket is good, the outer shell is a mustard light brushed cotton. It is moderately quilted - with real stitches not pressed stitches - and the stitches are done well. My daughter is very tall - she is now 11 years old and 5’1” - I bought this jacket for her in 2019 when she was 9 and it fit her well. I hope I didn’t go on too much and that my response was helpful.

fabfamfashions @racquelyoutzy Thank you so much for all the detailed info. It's the hits and misses with quality and sizing that keeps me from buying from that particular site. I'm still trying to narrow down needs from wants, but you have helped me a lot!
