Before Eeyore, there was Manni—a joyful little donkey bouncing through Disney's 1950s forest aesthetic like a hoofed Bambi on espresso. Manni the Donkey in the Forest World is a sweet, lesser-known Little Golden Book, adapted from Felix Salten’s A Forest World (yup, same author as Bambi) and illustrated by the Walt Disney Studio. This vintage copy has a well-loved spine with wear along the edges (see photos), but the cover’s still bright, and all pages are fully intact.
