I can't help it, the title of this sci-fi thriller cracks me up. And LOOK AT THE COVER!! It's glorious kitsch.
Jack Williamson was known as the 'Dean of Science Fiction' back in the day. He was the 2nd named Grand Master of Science Fiction -- after Heinlein, by the SFWA. He coined the terms terra-forming, genetic engineering, and psionics. He won the Hugo and Nebula in his 90s! Has 2 minor planets named after him.
So it just makes me laugh that 'Manseed' made it as a title. Like, c'mon!! Hello editor? Ok, that's my commentary, here's the blurb:
In the aftermath of a global catastrophe, Earth's last hope lies with **Manseed**, a daring mission sending robotic vessels laden with human genetic material to distant planets. On a world christened Mansphere, the robots face their ultimate challenge – reconstructing humanity from its very essence...
Jack Williamson's 'Manseed' is a thrilling science fiction adventure that explores the depths of human resilience, the power of technology, and the very definition of what it means to be human.
