Gold plated but has oxidized (please refer to photos) due to wear. A jeweler can fix this for you. Bought from Bleecker St location around 2008-2010.
The chain is quite long but doesn’t have a clasp. If you wanted to give the necklace a different life, the magnifier would also look good on a keychain (& chain looks very minimal on its own).

I never heard Gold can oxidized. unless if it's brass or bronze then it will have Gold tone at first and slowly oxidize.

@lillicious hi, the description clearly states it’s gold plated on the first line, gold in the title refers to the colour. If it were gold it would have never been priced this low ;)
