From my mother's horse figure collection. Beswick horse figures. My mother would have bought these figures in the 40's or 50's. The Stocky Jogging Mare, Modell # 855, brown gloss finish. Designed by Arthur Gredington, produced 1947-1989. Stands 6" tall; 8.5" long. Beswick Brown Small, Gambolling Left Foal. Model number 996. Designed by Arthur Gredington.Issued 1943 to 1976 Gloss finish. Back stamp underneath reads Beswick England.
