wildr0se I love Marimekko but are you seriously charging $120 for two tea towels or is there a typo somewhere that I'm missing?

wildr0se @planbpost For sure! Well, brand new on their website tea towels sell for $21 USD each. https://www.marimekko.com/us_en/home/kitchen-dining/tea-towels-napkins So if I was buying in Poshmark I wouldn't expect to pay more than $10 CAD per towel if they have tags and are unused. I hope this helps! Please know I was honestly inquiring, not trying to be a jerk!

planbpost @wildr0se Heather, hi! I'm not assuming bad intentions from you. I asked what you'd like for them because I'm thinking about price, value, scarcity, utility, beauty, maybe even 💘 , and their relationships. 🛒 Would you share your thoughts on how the sales price allocation to each contributor in the supply chain?

planbpost @wildr0se What percent would go to each entity, from the materials, to the maker, to the supplier of makers, supplier of materials, seller 1, seller technology 1, seller 2, seller technology 2, delivery costs (with delivery infrastructure, process, person, delivery technology), selection process and technology, marketing, handling, storing, packing, and other processes? What's the possible volume?

planbpost @wildr0se Or are we looking at this like a scrap sale where we're selling items to dispose of them and rewarding people who would take the items? Or is there another model for fashion items? For art? Among buyers, sellers, markets, and market makers, is there a balance of forces? Would that be desirable? 🎶

wildr0se @planbpost I think I understand what you're saying! Depending on what it's used for - and how much it is desired - maybe you could get a lot of $$ for this print. It is lovely! I'm not a sewer or artist, so when I look for Marimekko prints I'm looking for something immediately usable or wearable. So, if I bought these tea towels, I would literally just use them as tea towels. Best of luck!
