Marni Black and Gold Platform Wedges, EU40, EUC

I love a good architectural shoe, and Marni knocks it out of the park with this pair. Sleek black leather slingback uppers sit on top of a layered platform - wood underneath supporting curvaceous gold metal, for an overall effect that looks kind of like... a speedboat? They look spectacular on the foot, especially with flowy avant-garde styling. Marked size 40, the footbed measures 10.5" to the very tip of the pointed toe, and 3.325" at the widest part. Borderline short for my feet, these have an unusually wide fit for this brand. Lengthwise, these will best fit a size 9 foot, but you will need wider feet so your toes don't slide out the front. Only worn once, briefly, indoors - there's a scratch on the inside heel on the metal part of one platform, and some light scuffs and scratches in the same spot on the other shoe, and a coupon minor scuffs on the wooden platform. Not really noticeable when wearing; you might be able to polish it out with clear polish (or nail polish?) The uppers are immaculate, and the overall impact of this shoe is WOW.
